Pet Owners Need to Get Serious About Pet Dental Health
Oral disease is the most frequently diagnosed health problem for pets. Plus, it is estimated that more than 80 percent of dogs and cats four years and older show signs of oral disease. Our Surgery is pleased to take an active role in the 2008 Annual Pets Need Dental Care, Too™ campaign, part of Augusts National Pet Dental Health Month.
Ensuring proper dental care requires a year long commitment. Pet owners who take an active role in their pet’s dental health can help prevent periodontal disease and help ensure a healthy life for their canine and feline companions.
The 2008 National Pet Dental Health Month campaign is made possible through a partnership between Hill's Pet Nutrition Inc., Australian Veterinary Association, and the Australian Veterinary Dental Society.
